STEEL CONTAINER/CABINETS UNITS; (5) USE OF ACCESS ROAD AND ASSOCIATED WORKS
(1) REMOVAL OF THE EXISTING 8 NO. 600 AND 660 KILOWATT (KW) TURBINES AND REPLACEMENT WITH 3 NO. 4.5 MEGAWATT TURBINES HAVING AN OVERALL MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF 150M CONSISTING OF A BLADE DIAMETER OF 136M AND A HUB HEIGHT OF 82M. THE DEVELOPMENT WILL ALSO CONSIST OF THE ASSOCIATED TURBINE HARDSTANDS AND FOUNDATIONS, UPGRADING OF C.910M OF EXISTING SITE ACCESS TRACK, PROVISION OF C.799M OF NEW SITE ACCESS TRACK, CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 38KV SUBSTATION AND 2 NO. JOINT BAYS, DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW BORROW PIT, TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION COMPOUND, SITE DRAINAGE NETWORK, THE REMOVAL AND RESTORATION OF C.600M OF EXISTING SITE TRACK, INTERNAL WIND FARM UNDERGROUND POWER AND COMMUNICATIONS CABLING, CONNECTION TO THE NATIONAL ELECTRICITY NETWORK BY JOINING TO EXISTING GRID CONNECTIONS PRIOR TO LEAVING THE SITE AND ALL ASSOCIATED SITE DEVELOPMENT AND ANCILLARY WORKS.
