to construct temporary office accommodation including toilets and ancillary site works and permission to continue the use of existing temporay accommodation previously granted ref. 00/97
for a new corporate headquarters for Clare County Council on a 2.373 hectare site at New Road, Ennis. This proposal includes for the demolition of the existing two storey County Council offices and single and two storey stores, outbuildings, and portacabins to the rear. The application includes for a new two and three storey over lower ground floor headquarters building configured around a new 3 storey central public concourse serving exhibition and public waiting, counter and consultation requirements. A new Council Chamber and Council members facilities along with Council office accommodation is also provided at ground floor level, while further council departmental office accommodation is provided at first and second floor levels. The lower ground floor comprises stores, changing facilities, post, plant and ancillary uses. A surface carpark comprising 287 parking spaces is provided for public and council staff use to the rear (north) of the proposted structure and a
