Development of site consisting of 1. improvements to the Ennis Road to provide turning lanes to approved link road from the Ennis Road to the Clonmacken Road approved by Limerick County Council under planning register reference no. 02/1215 serving the redevelopment of the Caherdavin Centre. 2. the construction of a roundabout junction on the approved link road. 3. all other site development on a site measuring 0.5517 ha. 0.313 ha.of the development site is located within the administrative area of Limerick City Council and 0.2387 ha. is located within the administrative area of Limerick County Council. A separate planning application is being lodged concurrently to Limerick County Council in relation to the 0.2387 ha. within its administrative area.

Planning permission for development of its site. The development will consist of the redevelopment of the existing site and buildings for mixed retail/commercial park includes the construction of the following: 1. 8 No. retail warehouse units (including 1 no. outdoor garden centre of 1,170 sq.m) totalling 12,065 sq.m. 2. A 465 sq.m motor showroom. 3. A 503 no. space surface car park (including 53 No. staff parking spaces to the rear of units) and all other site development works including boundary treatment, lighting and landscaping on a site measuring 4.67 ha. The proposal ranges in height from 5.2m to 9.2m. An Enviromental Impact Statement and Retail Impact Statement will be submitted to the City Council with the application.
Permission and RETENTION for the following items; (1) Permission to erect a brass plaque on the front facade beside the entrance door and permission to reinstate original fireplace at ground floor level. (2) Retention for all unauthorised works at ground floor level - all new mechanical and electrical works, the removal of original skirtings, the insertion of a new ceiling below the original ceiling, the removal of a glazed partition between the main rooms at ground floor level and all other alterations to joinery items.
